Interaction Design, Public Spaces and Creative R&D
Mouna Andraos is the co-founder of Daily tous les jours, an interaction design studio that creates large scale interactive installations driven by collective experiences. The studio uses technology and storytelling to explore collaboration, the future of cities and the power of humans. It is best known for its work in public spaces, re-enchanting everyday life and stimulating playful encounters, conversations, and ultimately, igniting in people a sense of what is possible.
Daily tous les jours’s work has won numerous international recognitions including: Best in Show at the IxDA Interaction Awards, the Grand Prize at the UNESCO Shenzhen Design Awards, the Knight Cities Challenge for civic innovation, the Fast Company Innovation by Design Award, and theAmericans for the Arts Public Art Network Award.
Prior to co-founding Daily tous les jours, Mouna worked under the label Electronic Crafts exploring the intersection of mass-produced electronics and handmade crafts to create playful, sustainable, or participatory objects. Her web-based work for the interactive agency Bluesponge has won numerous international recognitions, including prizes from ID magazine, Best of Show at the SXSW Festival, and a CyberLion in Cannes.
Mouna holds a masters degree from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program and is an alumni of Concordia University in Montréal, as well as the Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology in New York City.
