Overview

“Heal Tutu” is a family interactive product that educates about emergency prevention through interactive picture books and smart toys.On the one hand, we design original story picture books, grading information and shaping child-friendly contexts to effectively help young children understand the role of situations and their own roles to help them understand and cope with the changes caused by the new crown epidemic; on the other hand, we design smart dolls, and young children trigger dotted visual changes and voice announcements by giving the dolls nucleic acid, vaccinations, and hand washing, so that the ” sick” bunny doll back to health. Through direct perception and practical operation, children are familiarized with the typical behavioral scenarios in an epidemic.

Project Description

During an epidemic, the issue of children’s physical and mental impairment is neglected, and young children do not autonomously understand complex situations and feel anxious and panicked about special situations (e.g., getting nucleic acid and vaccinations). However, the role of the family is missing in the existing epidemic preparedness emergency education model, and parents lack the necessary knowledge and skills to teach epidemic preparedness. How should we talk to our children about the new crown outbreak? How can we teach them epidemic preparedness skills and good hygiene habits?

“Healing Tutu” is a family interactive product that educates families about epidemic prevention and emergency science through interactive picture books and smart toys.

On the one hand, I drew original story picture books, graded the information and shaped a child-friendly context to effectively help children understand the situation and their role to help them understand and cope with the changes caused by the new crown epidemic; on the other hand, I designed smart dolls, and children triggered dotted visual changes and voice announcements by giving the dolls nucleic acid, vaccinations, and hand washing, so that The “sick” bunny doll was restored to health. Through direct perception and practical operation, we help children become familiar with typical behavioral scenarios in epidemic situations, develop their self-awareness and awareness of epidemic prevention, and relieve their panic and anxiety about unfamiliar situations.
